Principal's Message

I am proud to begin my sixth year as principal at Maywood Academy.  It is an exciting time to be at our school.

Academically, we increased our SBA English and Math scores.  We now have eleven AP courses for the upcoming school year. In addition, we offer dual enrollment classes and extensive tutoring for all students. We offer a rigorous and inclusive curriculum for all our students.

 

Our students are actively engaged in the many activities on campus such as band, dance, robotics, and culinary arts. Our afterschool program, ARC, offers many educational and entertaining classes. Not to be left behind, we have increased our athletic program and now offer water polo and swimming. Finally, students are able to participate in college field trips as well as excursions throughout the year.

 

I am excited about the upcoming school year. We will prepare our students to be college and career ready while enriching their lives with activities and social and emotional support. I invite all parents and guardians to visit our school's Parent Center and participate in parent workshops and volunteer opportunities available.
